Head and shoulders portrait of the artist in profile to the left, signed and dated in pencil and inscribed in a different hand "Dear Smith [J.T. Smith] - Pray accept this sketch for your catalogue. Mr Jackson was kind enough to do it for me. Yours very truly G. Clint Dec 8 1824."
